Of sorts. More a continuation really.
I have wandered around the roots & branches of my family tree for quite some time now. The result has been boxes full of notes, photos, etc. I have tried to arrange and put it into some sort of shape. And then to share with other family members the results. And so this is an experiment, to see if I can use the site to gather the notes, maybe organise them a little, share them with family. That sort of thing.

Hello
My Grandfather's name was John McCadden; he was married to Jeanie McCadden(Nee McElhinney/McIlhinney) in Glasgow on 13 May 1921. They had 3 children, Mary Ann born 11 February 1923(my mother), Agnes Bridget (born 22 February 1925) and Michael(No date).
I am one of 3 children, born in Scotland. My mother Mary Ann McCadden married David Gerard Roberts in July 1950.
Agnes Bridget McCadden had 2 children after she married Andrew Herron. We are all in contact and are trying to trace the McCadden family tree, with very little information. I don't even know who the families of my Grandparents are; no names, dates, nothing. I have started a McCadden family tree; but it is very small and I need help.
Can you maybe give me some advice or info. I would really appreciate it.
Kind regards
Anne Jean Roberts-Roets
I am reading an old blog post with your name on it regarding McCadden’s…
I am the grandson of Thomas McCadden who was a dairy farmer in Chesterville, Ontario, Canada.
My Mom is Thomas’ daughter and she had 6 brothers and sisters.
I would like to start tracing that side of the family back to their county of origin in Ireland.
Can you help in any way? I can reciprocate with info on where/who my McCadden cousins are here in Canada – if that helps anyone else.
Cheers,

Hi Mike -
Been a long time since we last talked! Stumbled onto your blog and wanted to say hi. Would love to hear from you again - we could trade any new info on our Quinn/McCadden families! Patty Quinn Meigs
Hello my fellow McCadden clan of County Donegal!!!
My Grandfather was James Patrick McCadden born in 1932 Glasgow Scotland in Port Dundas next to Cowcaddens in the city centre. He passed sadly in 2014 London England in his 82 years old. I believe his father was Michael McCadden one of two brothers and his mother was Margaret Donelly. They married each other in Glasgow (Margaret died in child birth sadly). I was born in Glasgow and now live in London. I was considering taking the DNA test on ancestry to see who's DNA I share in the Clan. I'm on Ancestry.com and have left my email if you wish to connect and share. Please feel free to connect the more the merrier!! I believe that many McCadden's have quite a keen intuition(knowing) in terms of the 5 clairs. ;-)
Lots of Love, Blessings, Miracles and wee Hugs
